Main Task

In Motor & Control your responsibility is to ensure the proper function of the Motor and Inverter. The Inverter takes power from the tractive system and uses it to power the windings in the Motor in a controlled way, making the car move. The lion share of the work involves programming the control algorithms for the inverter so that the driver/driverless system have good control through the throttle, as well as implementing regenerative braking, traction control and launch control. To succeed in this task you’ll be working closely with people from the Tractive System, Accupack, Sensors & Software, Control units, wire harness, and Drivetrain, as well as incorporating feedback from the driver.
