Main Task

The main task here will be to perform computational mechanics – simulations, mainly FEM and CFD to validate the design choices of the accupack – design. You will therefore work closely with those two and help them iterate their design process. Approaching competitions, proving that the accumulator container fulfils the structural regulations as well as motivating the design choices at competition will be critical. The secondary task will be to get an understanding of how the LiPo cells behave by research, testing and subsequently the risks they bring.

Your Profile

Here, we need an analytically-minded individual who enjoys running computer simulations. Although experience in FEM- , CFD-, and/or simulink – simulations is great, what is more so important is having an interest in learning these things. An interest in performing tests in a lab-environment is also a bonus.
