LFS23 race car

LFS23 Nickname: Eloise

The LFS23-car is one of our most successful EV-car to date. Being the first car in three years to implement an aerodynamic package, together with innovation in chassis manufacturing and a rigorous testing schedule, the LFS23-car managed to extract lots of performance from the concept. The design improvements and the dedication from the team resulted in our first ever EV-trophies and two Top 10 placements at some of the biggest competitions in the world.

  • 9th place at FS Netherlands
    • 3rd in endurance
    • 3rd in efficency
  • 10th place at FS East
LFS22 race car

LFS22

Focusing on weight reduction and refinement of the concept, the LFS22 was 40 kg lighter than its predecessor. Despite an error on the penultimate lap of endurance in Croatia, the LFS22 showed great improvements in performance, as well as in static and dynamic events.

  • 21th place at FS EAST (DV)
  • 18th place at FS Alpe Adria (EV)
LFS21 race car

LFS21

The team that successfully built our first electric race car with a integrated driverless system. The team also built a monocoque for the first time since LFS15.

  • 16th place at FS Alpe Adria
LFS20 race car

LFS20

The team that aspired to build two cars under one year, both a CV and an EV. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these ambitions were sadly halted. The CV-car later managed to compete at FSN2021, where the it finally got to show its potential.

  • 5th place at FS Netherlands
LFS19 race car

LFS19

Our most ambitious and succesful car ever.

  • 2nd place at FS Netherlands
  • 8th place at FS Germany
LFS18 race car

LFS18

Improving on a winning concept, LFS18 was a continuation of the LFS17 design which aided us in solidifying our status as the best combustion team in Scandinavia.

  • 20th place at FS East
  • 20th place at FS Germany
LFS17 race car

LFS17

A few hiccups during the dynamic events led to a disappointing result in Germany, however the new developments made to both suspension and aerodynamics made this car into a more technically ambitious project than its predecessors.

  • 17th place at FS UK
  • 56th place at FS Germany
LFS16 race car

LFS16

Our smallest ever team made a heroic effort creating this car. Considering the circumstances, it's impossible to not be impressed by this year's creation.

  • 65th place at FS UK
LFS15 race car

LFS15

One of our lightest cars produced, LFS15 was designed to be cheap and easy to manufacture as opposed to previous years' much more sophisticated designs.

  • 8th place at FS UK
  • 13th place at FS Austria
LUR6 race car

LUR6

Winning an award for lightweight construction, this car was succesful due to very efficient design choices. However, it took two years to produce and perfect.

  • 18th place at FS UK
  • 16th place at FS Germany
LUR5 race car

LUR5

Light, fast and sleek, LUR5 also took two years to manufacture but was a successful return to the combustion class cars since the hybrid class fell out of fashion.

  • 28th place at FS UK
LUR4 race car

LUR4

Probably our most technically advanced car of this time period, and incredibly successful. With a carbon fiber chassis and an award winning hybrid electric powertrain, this was not only complex but also reliable.

  • 2nd place at FS UK
  • 3rd place at Formula Hybrid New Hampshire
LUR3 race car

LUR3

Affectionally called "the Egg," LUR3 was the sum of the previous years' technological advancements, with upgrades to mainly the suspension and engine. This car managed to be the first in our history to score points at the dynamic events.

  • 51st place at FS UK
LUR2 race car

LUR2

For being the second car LFS has ever built, LUR2 is not bad in the slightest. Unfortunately, the experience and knowledge to create a competitive car was lackluster, and it failed to score any points in the dynamic events.

  • 46th place at FS UK
LUR1 race car

LUR1

Looking back, LUR1 was a rather ludicrous concept. For their debut in 2006, the team packed a twin cylinder 1100cc engine into a steel and fiberglass chassis. Sadly, it never made it past scrutineering and thus did not score any dynamic points. A disappointing end to an ambitious project.

  • 51st place at FS UK
