Main Task

As designers you will be responsible for constructing a monocoque that is validated by simulations and that meets all targets of the Structural Equivalency Spreadsheet (SES) for the competitions. The designers also decide, test and validate and define the layup to optimize the weight and test and design the inserts that are needed.

Your Profile

You are comfortable with a lot of independent work. You are creative and comfortable with working on your own and solving problems. Interest or knowledge in solid mechanics is a major plus! If you want to work with simulations you will work with FEA and CAD softwares. You are interested in structure analysis and optimization as well as learning new softwares. You must be comfortable with solving problems on your own and creative in finding answers. You should also be good at documenting your process.
